Dalton Armstrong began his racing career at the age of 5.  He raced quarter midgets from 2000 to 2006. Over that 6-year span, Dalton WON over 100 races, including several championships. Some of these include: Jr Stock, Mini-Indy, Light B Mini-Indy, and the Gasoline Alley Nationals at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the two fastest classes in 2005 (Light A & Light B). Dalton is the younger brother of NASCAR Nationwide Series driver, Dakoda Armstrong, and a cousin to USAC racer, Caleb Armstrong.

USAC National Midget Car Series
In his first USAC National Series midget race, Dalton led 37 of 40 laps and finished 2nd behind USAC vetran Tracy Hines. In only his second ever USAC National Series midget start, Dalton finished 3rd in the prestigious "Turkey Night Grand Prix", against the best racers in the sport!
